1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Our community is not a soap box for complaining or drama, so please refrain from doing so here.[/size]

FREE COINS!
Now that I have your attention, Ed,
I'd like to brag a little. I am now up to 82 coins that I have "mined" from lots I've bought! Okay... most of them pennies, but Hey! I gotta start somewhere!
Just sold the "break even" coin on a lot of 19 1883 Liberty Nickels and wound up with 6 free keepers. All nice AUs too!
One of 'em is on its way to a good friend who has given me constantly good advice over time, and helped me focus a little better on my "numismatic hygiene"! I'm not in such a hurry to buy a coin, just because it's a date or type I don't have. I've paid my dues. I've got quite an admirable junk box to show for it too!
Here are the top three!
I did dip the last one, and am super glad I did! It worked! Darn thing's a headlight now!
Anybody know where I can order a roll of 1796 Bust Quarters at a good price? LOL!
Happy Hunting, whatever your method!

Re: FREE COINS!
Can someone explain the blobs on the rims on the first one? Not solder, I hope, from being in a bezel? I don't like formerly embezeled coins!

Nice coins......
Those tiny rim extrusions...... appear to be just a bleed over from the strike.

Re: FREE COINS!
Sorry, I meant Earle! I guess I was thinking Ed Earl, 'cause you remind me of Burt Reynolds!

LOL!
My forum name is in honor of my grandfather, Earle Corbett, who started me in coins when I was an ankle biter. Using his name is a great way of reminding myself of the great times we had together and gives me hope I can do the same for my grandkidlings.
