Hello Forum,
I was had just been reading about Die Clashes and in particular about the Floating Counter Clash, and
when reading starts to bore me, I always grab a fistful of Lincoln Cents, and this was the very first!!
It looks just like a photograph that illustrated the article... I wonder if it really is...
Greetings, Eva
Did I just found a LCM 1987 d Floating Counter Clash??

from the looks of it, this is a example struck with a heavily deteriorated die.

I just think that when people make statements about irregular issues with their coins....... they provide a link as to where they saw that.

Re: Did I just found a LCM 1987 d Floating Counter Clash??
i don't understand.
The coin I have looks ecxactly like the ones shown as examples. Ofcourse the motto-letters
are worn down a bit, but the character of the ridge rim and the letters look similar enough to
take the coin in consideration to be the real thing, instead of calling it a PMD. LEARNING, especially
in an early stage, is also looking for a ffth or sixth opinion, only to discover that the student was
so dead-wrong! I don't mind a little pain (oe shame) Thanx!!
