Hi everyone! Trying to fit in and do all the right things before pestering anyone, so I have taken some time to look this coin up and I'm a little on the fence.
Probably a lot more on the fence than you guys who've already jumped off the fence and know better..
Anyhow I'll post images.. if you have a moment please let me know if real doubling is possible.
. The doubling I am seeing appears to be more than machine doubling... (Hey I believe every coin I touch is a treasure, smile... I am sure that belief goes away after awhile, right…?)
Ok here goes and many thanks in advance. I checked variety Vista, and other places and haven't found one... But I could be looking right at one and maybe not know what I'm seeing. So here the images are.
Yes. I know 1991 d. No known ddo or ddr. So far. So I know I'm probably seeing the impossible and it's not real. Still I'll hold my breath til y'all let me know. smile. Thanks.
Is this machine doubling? Variety Vista has no ddo or ddr for date

1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

I see plating issues and mechanical doubling. If you study images for doubled dies for this date or similar dates then you can slowly learn what they look like.
