Four sequential $100's - Series 1996 {worth?}

#1 Unread post by DiZzURt »

So I have been collecting coins for awhile now but recently came across some paper currency which is definitely outside of my knowledge zone. So here I am, lol..And I guess I am basically trying to figure out if A) are these currently worth anything over face value &/or B) are they worth holding on to at all for what potentially could become a fortuitous bump in value some point in the future??? :handgestures-fingerscrossed: :handgestures-fingerscrossed: :handgestures-fingerscrossed:
I appreciate any and all insight or help anyone can provide, and I look forward to utilizing and contributing to this Community here forward!!!
BiLL INFO:
These are 4 $100 bills in sequential order (697-700), Series 1996. They are nice and crisp. No pin holes, or folded/bent corners, or any other cosmetic blemishes/dirtiness.
***These are in semi hard plastic sleeves when I took the pictures, so any glare or weird random streaks you might notice would be from the reflection against the sleeves. The bills themselves have no blotching or streaks etc.

To my knowledge, these are worth no more than face value. You can go to your bank and ask for consecutively numbered bills of any denomination. If they have some on hand you can get them for face.

Disagree since they are 1996 crisp you can probably expect 10 to 20 over face depending on the collector graded is even better if they are indeed crisp uncirculated bills the top note appears to have an issue I would like to see them out of the holder front and back

Check ebay SOLD auctions for similar types of items.
...depending on the collector graded is even better...
Unless the cost of getting them graded is more than the nots would bring in profit. I am NOT saying this is the case here b/c I have never sent in a bill to be "professionally" graded and never looked into the costs. But it is well worth your time to look into costs beforehand so you don't end up losing money.
