1999 $1 with a Palindrome / Radar serial number
Got this well circulated 1999 $1 with a palindrome or radar serial number 67900976 In change today from the store. I had to look up what palindrome means. "A palindrome is a word, number, phrase, or other sequence of characters which reads the same backward as forward, such as madam or racecar." To bad its worn and has a ink spot on it.

Re: 1999 $1 with a Palindrome / Radar serial number
Also known as a "radar" note likely because its easier to remember or say for most people than palindrome
Fun find for sure.
The first I found was in a stack of bills my Grandfather handed me to pay for gasoline with (when I was a kid). Ironically, he was the one who got me into coin collecting and told me always to check coins and the serial numbers on bills!
I still remember the number: 18122181, I think its a 1969 issue (Connaly?).

Common grading company shortcomings & resulting co$tly mi$take$ to collectors (using Kennedy No FG halves):

Neat find. Crisp Uncirculated examples worth $10 or so. Worth about $5 to me for circulated notes.
