1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). I Just cant win....
I'm hanging up my Hat with the TPG's and possibly coin collecting. I'm done. Finished. Finito. You won't see a single Penny from me anymore.
I found a 1923 Peace Dollar that was struck with a Double Die on the Reverse.
It spans from the Birds leg Tails and goes to the Leaves
I paid for the Vam designation and I didn't get the Vam. I'm out of this business. I will most likely liquidate all my coins and go find another hobby. The TPG's just sucker gut punched the will out of me to keep going.
This is Cowboy Nevada saying Farewell and Goodbye. I wont miss any of these Neurotic Coin Grading Companies

Sorry to hear this. Both about the coin and your leaving the hobby. We were just getting to know you!

If NCG or PCGS don't have the VAM listed in their price guide they will not attribute. ANACS will and so will https://www.varslab.com/vamseal.html
Send it to them.
Send it to them.

Sure thing as soon as I get it back from NGC i'll take some Close up's. Boy did I overpay on this one. Early Bird + Vam + Shipping. No way I'm gonna see the money back. I thought it was a MS65 grade myself. They are getting so tight it hurts

Re: I Just cant win....
Hey, C if you are still around. I still can't see your pics. Anyway, all of the TPGs are tightening up. My latest VAM scored a 62, and I figured it higher, but, well K Sara K Sara.
Adapting to new circumstances is a part of business, so, at this point crackouts are really risky right now. Also I generally expect only MS 60, but with this guy, well I had VAMitis at the time, so that is my defense.
The reason I sent these VAMs to ANACS because they are the only ones who would attribute these. I tend to be careful, so since I am a NGC member I went to their attribution area on the website, and found out that they only attribute certain VAMs so I EMailed them with both VAM# numbers, but they said they did not. So off to ANACS they went.

Re: I Just cant win....
Even if they didn't attribute the Vam, the undergrade was a smack in the face especially for an 80 holder dollar fee. What are they Smoking ? That case costs .09 cents to produce

I have pulled about 10 coins back into my Private Collection (not for Sale) due to this TPG grading Malarchy. Hopefully there will be better days soon....
