1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.

2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.

3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.

4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.

5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.

6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.

My Latest Acquisition and a note of Thanks

#1 Unread post by karl.bursa »

Folks:

First off, this post is a thank you to the community. To Daniel for organizing this place and having patience with me during my initiation into the Coin Roll Hunting and Numismatic World, I thank you. To Paul, Sal, and Earle, likewise, thanks for helping out a noob on his journey. When I joined you, I was going through some stuff I wasn't ready to talk about - but the hobby and the community helped me through it. Today, I completed my last round of chemotherapy and, as luck would have it, in celebration, they gave me a coin. I can't spend it and I doubt PCGS will give it a grade, but it is officially my favorite addition to my collection. Thanks to all of you for being there to support me in keeping my mind occupied and focused to get me through, even though you never knew what was going on behind the scenes. I'm going to keep on hunting and posting on this forum because of how great it is; and once my docs clear me, I'm gonna celebrate by buying something really nice from Daniel's shop - the wife gave me clearance to get myself a present widegrin

Thanks again to all of you. :yourock:

Karl
