1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Another find
In June I was hunting through a bag for 2500 wheat cents which I won off usauctiononline.com. I find what I believed to be a double die, I sent it off to ANACS with some other coins since they had a special going for 10 coins for 109 free shipping plus the fee to have it verified, and the cent came back as A 1941-P DDO FS-102 DIE 2. I will share some pictures when I get it back.
Thank you for all your videos Daniel, they inspired me to put in more time and effort to learn what to look for to find varieties.

Re: Another find
Nice find Claude - but as a future note - if you post pictures here before sending in a coin, it could save you some money as we could likely ID it for you. Looking forward to seeing the pics!

Re: Another find
I should be getting that coin a long with some others back next week. Even though the DDO isn't that high of a grade, it will still be fun for me to have it graded and encapsulated for my personal collection. It is one of those things I will hold onto. It kind of reminds me of the first bass I caught when I was a kid back in the 90s that my parents had mounted and I still have to this day. It will be good to have a graded example in hand of what a DDO for 1941 looks like for future purposes. I have bags of wheat cents dated from 1909-1919, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s which I need to go through and check at some point.

Re: Another find
@Earle42 I actually wanted to get the coin graded anyways since it was my first double die find and ANACS had a special going that I was already planning to submit coins for. I knew it was a double die before I sent it off, the verification was just to attribute it on the holder. Though I didn't know exactly which DDO it was. I think the coin will get back to me this coming week, then I will be able to provide pictures.

Re: Another find
Here are some pics I've taken so far, I will try to get more of the doubled areas later that might be a bit better. I have been busy with a job interview this morning and then I have an appointment with a orthopedic surgeon this afternoon.
