7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). How to tell a fake Spanish coin from a real one.

Looking for info on this coin I acquired year's back and could not find much info about it would love to know if it is real

Some better photos that are higher resolution, not blurry with better lighting would probably help here.

Have you at least tried tested if it was silver yet? That would be a good first step.

So in my searching around on google for "coin cross silver spanish OMD" results in some people thinking that this is maybe a "macuquinos" or "cobs", as these irregular Spanish coins are often called (Cited from: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/old-me ... ke.286676/).

Apparently many of these are fakes. You'd have to probably have an expert alecks this in person.

Also, in the future, please make sure you post to the correct forum. You'd probably have better luck getting a response if you posted this to World and Ancient Coin Forum. This is def not a US coin.
