Hey Folks! Relatively new to coin collecting and found this forum through YouTube. I just got done watching the CoinHELPu video on how to identify cleaned coins. I'm interested in putting together and Oregon Commemorative type set, and I picked up a couple of coins from eBay the other day. It comes from a coin seller on ebay with 85k+ feedback and extremely low, like almost zero neutral or neg feedback... so I think he's reputable. I asked him if these coins were cleaned and he said that he didn't think so. They were both sold as "Choice BU" coins. After watching the video I'm somewhat on the fence as to if one of them has been cleaned (the 1926), and I'm thinking the other one (1926-S, with bluish toning) hasn't been cleaned. I'm curious to know what the community thinks about these. Do you think they were cleaned? What would you grade them as? Thanks in advance for your help on this!!
Need help grading two Oregon Commemorative halves
