1972 D Washington Quarter WMHR-001 Master Hub Doubling

Hi Daniel looking for some help on this, I looked and compared to Wexlers images on WMHR-001 Master Hub Doubling. The die markers seam to match up. see what your thoughts are.

Die markers don't mean anything unless the coin is a doubled die and this coin suffers from die deterioration.

Justapiece this is a relative late die strike with lots of circulation wear. Some of the doubled dies we are searching for are hard to find on some of the pristine BU UNC coins without a scope it seems. The one you are looking for on this quarter isn't a very strong one with huge notching. One Weakness with Wexler and VV is their markers or lack thereof in my opinion. I would rather see pictures of scratches, gouges, etc than just devices or a verbal description of something. Keep on searching, heck that is the fun anyway. ;) good luck.

Hey Pahwa, ya it seems that way the more circulation wear and tear on them the harder it is to see some good doubling, but the more I read and do research the more understanding I have and what to look for, it is allot of fun though, and its great , the search does go on,Thank you
