1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Wexlers
First week of April of this year I sent this viewtopic.php?f=70&t=13296 coin to Wexler for his opinion. I included the proper amount of dollars in cash for him to attribute and return the coin as per instructions on his website. It has now been almost 6 weeks since then. I have emailed 3 times but cannot get a response from him. Apparently the emails are getting to him as they are not being returned.
I have found his home, private landline phone number on the net but hesitate to call him at home until all other avenues have been followed up on.
So, here is my question, has anyone had any experience with him and what do you recommend?

Re: Wexlers
Keep in mind, just like every service business, business comes in "waves".
Sometimes, we get "pounded", and so backed up, that spending time returning every email that we get while trying to attribute so many coins at one time, just slows us down even more.
:eureka:
FYI, as a trick here, take a look at the "coin show schedules" around the country ... And if you can schedule your submissions to fall between these dates,
"turnaround time" should be quicker.

Re: Wexlers
Yeah. He writes his books and a column in coin world too. Will just have to hurry up and wait. Thanks for your reply.

Re: Wexlers
My last submission was May of 2018 (a new 1928p DDO & 2017p DDR) and received the coins in Nov.
He is very busy with an increased volume. He apologized profusely and appreciates everyone's patience. He said some online videos created a tsunami of submissions that have not let up. He was hoping to have his site (doubleddies.com) updated by the beginning of April but I believe but that hasn't occurred yet. (Also I've heard he is experiencing some age related health issues that have complicated things.)

Thank you!! Thanks for the update. My first submission to his service so I was just going by what it says on his website. This is actually good news for me. Less worry ing about that stupid coin.

Re: Wexlers
Just looked at his website. I see nothing stated there. So...where did you find this into?
Re: Wexlers
I have heard the same, that his health is an issue from different channels on YouTube - especially one I trust. I also sent coins to him and have not gotten them returned which is my issue. I sent a check so not to worried abut that but I sent some coins that I definitely want back - ie, 1961 Proof Set!
Re: Wexlers
I sent him an email asking him to send my coin back. He can keep the dollars I sent, just send my coin back. Wait and see what happens.

Take a look at this page. This is Wexlers feedback page at usacoinbook.com. Look closer and you will see that he was logged in 6/3/19. Made a sale with posted feedback in June.

Re: Wexlers
But that doesn't mean he did it, could have been a family member, plus he's not dead but he has health issues and might not be able to sift through all the coins he gets. If I accepted submissions my self I would have a time keeping up myself. So I can image a person of his stature.
