Hello everyone
This is a 1687 coin, i believe from Charles 11 of Spain known to have circulated in Italia. It came from my late father's private collection. I am not sure if this is a common or scarce medieval coin. It is over 300 years old. Could someone please inform me how to determine what is the grade for this coin, and what is the estimate value on the current market at this time. I plan to keep it to be passed down in our family.
I appreciate anyone assistance for information to keep for record keeping. Thank you.

Being Sicilian, I was curious about this coin. Here is most of what you need for ID'ing the coin. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces242389.html

Re: 1687 copper coin from Italia
Thank you Sal for this awesome information. So it is possible that 93 out 100 scale from members, consider the coin close to rarity. As soon as I saw the Eagle on the obverse, i knew Holy Roman Emperor was the marker to look for to help identify this coin. My paternal ancestors were known with The Royal House of Hohenstaufen. The" Eagle" was the symbol in the Coat of Arms in the Kingdom of Sicily in earlier years, then next were the Royal House of Habsburg.
The Habsburg branches were known in different countries as well, but mostly from Austria... King Carlo 11 of Spain (Charles 11) reigned over, Naples, Sicily, and Sardinia.
