Missing Clad Layer on a 1979 Mint set

#1 Unread post by Marinedude2u »

Good Day

My name is Neil, I am a Retired Marine who has been collecting for decades. So many things I have bought and never looked at, so been going over all of these. I came upon a really cool direct from the mint I ordered in 1979 missing clad error. See for your self

Respectfully Submitted, Neil

Thanks for your service.

In regard to your set, the US Mint didn't issue them like this and your coins are toned and not missing the clad layer.

Great set. Is not missing clad is just toning.

I work with you "marines" in Lebanon, train in Abu-Dabby, then Tonga, Cote-D'Ivoire, Croatia, Serbia and last in Kosovo. Great fellows, combatants, fiends and brothers. Do not forgot never you brothers which left the blood on field, Happy to see some past so many things and years. Congrat soldier.
