Blank Plantchets

#1 Unread post by KoreanCoinSales »

So I have a quarter sized blank plantchet from my dads collection of odd coins he finds when he got bank rolls for his business.
The size of it is a quarter size but it sticks to magnet. The rim/side looks to be as if it's ready to be stamped and made into a coin. Am I overthinking this or would there be any other suitable use for a metal this size?

First picture shows, at the edge of the slug, where it was removed from an electrical box.
