1944 P wartime nickel... wrong planchet?

I have here an 1944 P wartime nickel that has an copper tone to it..l compared it to other wartime nickel l have an noticed the color difference..is alter in anyway.. reaching out for opinions..

It would have to be tested by XRF if it was off metal either way.

At 4.8 gr it is OK. Due to the alloy of the 1944 56% Copper, 35% Silver, 9% Manganese the reddish color upon the time it is absolutely normal. the last two metals in alloy develop some sort of self protection oxide which can become reddish. (Metallurgical encyclopedia, metallic environment reactions)

You will need to call around to your local coin store, jewelry store, or pawn shop,… And ask if they have an analyzer.

A good XRF could give an good result. For wrong planchet if past this XRF you need the SDS-DSX test. All certified coins with denomination wrong planchet go to DSX test.
