1982 D copper small or large date penny

#1 Unread post by Roger »

Hopefully I'm posting this in the right forum in the right way. My question is whether I'm looking at a small date or a large date coin. My eyes even with a 10x loop aren't what they used to be. Coins weighs 3.1g. Any help would be appreciated.

Note Nessie has no curve in i's neck where it contacts the water. Neither does the neck of the large date 2 where it hits its base.

Thanks for everyone's opinion on my coin as well as the education. Large date it seems, can't win um all, back to searching. Roger
