Why is there 8 different 1982 Lincoln pennies

#1 Unread post by Lonestarcoin »

Over the weekend I went through a bag of pennies that someone gave me and I found eight different 1982 P and D pennies. Why do they all weigh different?

I've several videos on this subject, the US Mint was changing the alloy and minting process for cents in 1982 so it is a transitional year.
