Old Gold Panda collection
Hi All,
I have a few 1980s series of Pandas that came in those clear envelopes and some that came in the velvet boxes. I watch Daniels channel and he shows that those plastic envelopes are bad for the coins. Are the ones that come to you with the coins ok to store them or is there a way to get the velvet boxes for the sets? Please advise. I have looked on Ebay but they do not have the whole set boxes?

Re: Old Gold Panda collection
The coins do not have any issues. The cases for the series of 1988 Gold Pandas are what they are. The plastic envelopes are the issue. Why would you need the pics? There are five total.

Re: Old Gold Panda collection
We need photos to see what is going on with the coin so we can determine what the issue is (One coin per topic please to limit confusion). I've never seen a gold panda before, and I'm interested into seeing it on pictures.Inquiring Minds wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 10:34 pm The coins do not have any issues. Re: Old Gold Panda collection
In full disclosure I had to Google “gold panda“. I’m not into foreign coins and would like to see what you are experiencing with the holders. That part translates across coin collecting.Marvic wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 11:06 pmBecause, not ALL of us collect Pandas, and maybe some of us can learn about these pander coins with a little help from your pictures.Inquiring Minds wrote: ↑Fri Sep 23, 2022 10:34 pm The coins do not have any issues. Re: Old Gold Panda collection
Thanks Marvic.
I hadnt thought about that and it was very selfish of me. I will put the pics up as soon as I can get good pics. I take horrible pics but will try to do my best.
Sorry I still am a newbee and working very hard to figure out what I have.

Re: Old Gold Panda collection
They came sealed in the plastic that Daniel had to clean off some coins in a video that I watched. My question is: are these safe in here or should I get a box like some others come in? Or I bought some cases to put other pieces in. They are acrylic I believe but I do not want to disturb them if I shouldn't. These have been sealed. See my dilema? Thanks and I hope the pictures show what you need.

Re: Old Gold Panda collection
I would leave them as is. You might take them to a shop locally and let them look at them, to see if there’s any type of issue.
