Where can I look up variety’s and errors for world coins? I asked because I posted a DDO I found on and 2017 £1 pound.

1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. Since you already posted this question...and I checked...its in this same forum...you do not need to make a duplicate post concerning the coin.
The people here are volunteers and not here 24/7. So answers have to wait until someone with that knowledge sees the thread and replies.
You also may need to understand foreign coins are not as widely collected int the US as the coins may be in their own native countries. So it may be no one has answered b/c there is not a known reference for that country. You may want to do a web search of British coins on a British search engine if you have not already.: https://www.searchenginesoftheworld.com ... gdom.shtml

Found the specs for the coin on the royalmint.com website I learned that the 12 sided coin replaced the rounded 1 pound coin seeing that out of every 30 round pound coins in circulation one was counterfeit it also has all kinds of Security features one that is hidden so when I seen the doubling on the coin I figured great it’s a security feature but they mention no security feature being put on the coin as being doubled

From the pictures I recall seeing in your other thread, I remember you showed some pictures (sorry, hard to see) of the doubling.
I also am not familiar enough with the coin to know if the lettering is incuse (which I suspect form your pics) or regular.
On regular lettering, MD will thin the size of the actual letters by plowing into them and making a shelf like "doubled" area. But with incuse lettering on a coin, the MD will thicken the look of the letters instead. Since incuse letters are made from a raised letter on a die, MD pushes the raised die area into the already incuse lettering's cavity and so makes the incuse letters look wider than normal.
Also check out error-ref.com for "incuse machine doubling."

Is there any where else I can post theses images where people know more about world coins. Also I got a little impatient with this post because I just assumed you guys know everything coins. Not the case. That said again you have come through time and time again with helping me with my coins. Thank you again guys.

You are just finding out what most people learn when they want to find documentation concerning a lot of foreign coins. No one knows it all b/c there are just way too many coins that have been made by different countries for way too many centuries. And for all those coins, there are more US coins forums/clubs/collectors than anything else. So of course, the info for non-US coins (maybe not Canada) is going to be harder to find.
I once wanted an example of a Panama Un Balboa coin. I spent hours online trying to track down the years, mintages, metals, dates, design changes etc. And for much of that I was glad I speak Spanish! Yet I also see the Un Balboa is a semi-popular large silver coin collectors like to have an example of. And that was just 4 years ago I tried to find the info. I also highly suspect the known DDs and other errors for those also are not known.
If I knew of a better place to find the info you seek, I would have posted that link right away. This is why I suggested using a British search engine. Another avenue I would take, it just occurred to me, is to try to see if there is such a thing as a British coin forum over there (maybe?). Remember a US based search engine will not necessarily pick up all worldwide sites.
Hoping you can easily find what you are looking for. But so far, as you can see, finding specific info on foreign coins is typically not just a one-stop simple internet search that can be done in a few minutes.
