standing liberty quarter - 1916 or 1917 type 1 or impossible to tell?

#1 Unread post by mas_pdx »

I was recently given a coin collection from a relative - and this was one of them. its in pretty bad shape, so I wonder if anyone would be able to advise on what the year might be.

I'm attaching a photo of the obverse and reverse of the coin. Any pointers are appreciated. Thank you.
