I recently purchased a 1967 penny. the reverse has some light spots, but despite those small blemishes this is the shiniest / clearest penny from that year I've ever seen.
I'd understood that no proofs were minted that year. I know there is a somewhat subjective element to grading. Any thoughts? should I send it to PCGS or NGC?

Re: 1967 penny
I would make darn sure you have something before spending the money. I took a look at pcgs auction prices and here is a link to them... https://www.pcgs.com/auctionprices/deta ... s-sp/93296
Those prices seem to be all over the place as far as value is concerned. MS67 and SP67 sold for higher dollars . It will probably cost you near $100 to get it graded at pcgs so MS65 and MS66 might not be worth it since some of them had a value as low as 7 to 8 dollars.
