Thanks for the welcome everyone.
So I started coin roll hunting recently! It’s an awesome hobby. I’m searching about 2-3k or half dollars weekly and about 3k of the small dollars. Are there any numbers or estimates of how much silver is left in circulation? And with the small dollars what are some of the top things to look for?

You are searching 3k of small dollars but don’t know what to look for? I suggest researching BEFORE spending any time doing any searching of any type of coin. Just my .02

Hello DYEDYE1, I'm new to this site also, but not new to internet boards or coins. Earl42 gave you a good place to start, I have used it for my Sac and SBA hunting, and this will be a very helpful post for you. Just remember not all posts will be as helpful, there are a lot of miserable people on the internet, so just be careful.

As far as you silver question, it is very difficult to tell, in the late 60's and 70's silver coins were still in high circulation, but by now it is getting more difficult to find them, so again, I agree with earl42, there is nothing I know of that would tell you how much is in the hands of collectors and or how much has been melted, to allow you to calculate what is left of the original mintage of any coin or group of coins.

Oh yes, one other piece of advice, if you are searching for silver rolls do not buy them from eBay or etsy etc. I believe Daniel handles these on his site, also coinopp seems to be a trustworthy vendor. Although I have not bought from either, their videos are straight forward and seem to be truthful.
