Error 1937 wheat cent

Thinking of selling and wondering if anyone has seen an error such as this ? Any recommendations?

Had the coin for over forty years. Found in pocket change. Cannot see how a leaf imprint is a damaged coin. Kind of favors headdress on 1937 mercury dime. Enlarged it looks like a fern leaf or feather?

It is damaged, the coin has been scraped and the shape is the metal moved from the shallower area. PMD.

It does look like someone was trying to carve the surface of this. The pic makes it look like an depressed area was made to make the altered area look higher than the normal surface of the cent. There is nothing in the minting process that could make this - its damage.
