Hi, Everyone!
My name is Sean, and I am the owner of: https://www.BlackForestRarities.com — an Online Coin, Collectibles, and Rare Playing Cards Shop. I am a collector and member of the American Numismatic Association, which I joined recently.
I have been collecting since I was a kid—but in late 2019, I decided to get really serious about Coins, and collecting in general. I'm currently 26 years old, and based in Pittsburgh, PA—not far from Ohio at all!
Learning from Daniel's videos and personal experience collecting/hunting has helped me tremendously in my Numismatic Journey—and he was probably the most influential person in my decision to open my own Coin Shop! It is still very new, as it only went live in October.
I'm not here to plug my website though!! I just felt it was relevant for an introduction!
While my collection continues to grow each day—and my learning grows ever further each day—I am here to learn, help others, and talk about Coins: which like many of you I'm very passionate about.
What I Primarily Collect and Sell:
- Lincoln Cents
- Kennedy Halves
- Morgan Dollars
- Bullion of Any Kind
- Russian Coins
- US and Russian Paper Currency
- Rare and Unique Playing Cards
My absolute favorite Coins to search through and collect are definitely Lincoln Cents. I love that you can get so many of them for cheap, and that the amount of varieties are so vast. Overall, they're just a lot of fun to collect.
I also enjoy Silver Stacking, HAM Radio, and Photography!
I hope to grow and help others grow in this community—and I appreciate anyone who took the time to read my introduction!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Looking forward to learning more with you all in 2021!

3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Our community is not a soap box for complaining or drama, so please refrain from doing so here.[/size]
