1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Using ANACS to grade coins
I have 12 to 15 Morgan Dollars I want to have graded, and as I have not joined NGC or PCGS as a paying member it looks like ANACS is my only choice. I have used the PCGS Photograde page and I think, but what do I know :-), they are MS64 on avg, maybe MS63. Anyone know a Dealer in the Balt/Annapolis area that would be willing to take a quick look and give me an opinion on having them graded?

Sorry but I can't help you with that. You can Google dealers or use coinzip.com but dealers don't usually like to pre-grade your coins unless they're submitting for you.

Re: Using ANACS to grade coins
Daniel, thanks for the reply. I am not looking for a grade but just an opinion on whether or not its work the money for me to send them in. I have some slabbed MS63's from NGC and the ones I was thinking to send in look better to me, fewer bag marks and nice luster. I have a local guy who retired that's in his 80's that has offered to take a look at them for me. Are the current top 3 grading companies, NGC, PCGS, then ANACS in that order?

Re: Using ANACS to grade coins
You can't determine if sending a coin is worth it unless you pre-grade it, that's how it is done. You already did that by comparing to an MS63, you think they're MS64 or better. So go to PCGS coin values and see what grade they need to be to be worth the money.
