1909 VDB DD? with Die Crack

#1 Unread post by Oldmech60 »

Came across this nice 1909 VDB this past weekend it could be a DD on the date and RTY of Liberty as listed in Coneca 1-0-IV and Wexler WDDO-001 it also has a Die Crack on the reverse from the edge to the S in States.
The Doubling on the date and RTY are hard to see in this photo so I'm sending it out to Ken Potter. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

I can think I can see some extra size to the TY, but that's a nice coin regardless. I hope Ken gives it a good DD mark.

Hope it is a dd Good luck. It is hard to see int he pics. There doesn't appear to be any extra thickness or doubling in the 9's of the date, but like you said it is hard to see in the pictures. Hope you have a good one there.
