1988D post mint damage

#1 Unread post by pahwa »

The wife came home last night after taking a bunch of coin back to the bank to turn in. She threw me this coin and told me the bank couldn't take it. Gee I wonder why. It evidently got caught in the counting machine. When the teller came back she gave it to the wife saying that we couldn't turn this one in. Well heck they damaged it, they should have replaced it wouldn't you think? They broke a good cent if you ask me. Da bums! widegrin

Ya but Roger they are the ones that broke it! hehe All this discussion over a simple broken cent. Life is good.

Well don't the coins go to a fed place after they are counted and bagged at the bank to get rolled again? No matter it found the trash can. Off to finding more good ones I hope.
