Re: Post your clashes here!
These pics are old and terrible. They were taken over 10 years ago with available equipment which was not up to today's abilities. But I will post them anyway. I will make multiple posts. These are not all of them, but a sampling of what I found roll hunting back then.
Starting with a 1971.
In my notes I nicknamed these RNs for "Rhino Nose." But I hope no one decides to use that as a gimmicky name to make money off of on eBay (reference to one of Daniel's recent videos!).

Another 71-D. Sorry these are all the pics I could find of this one. This one is a rhino nose with a stegosaurus neck!

Re: Post your clashes here!
Last 1971-D I have pics of. The die polisher left a big chunk of the REV design floating in the field in front of President Kennedy's face. I am posting two of the same pic, but different lighting makes different highlights show.

Re: Post your clashes here!
Another 1983-P which is likely the best I have found in the wild. Click to enlarge. This one is amazing. But I saw one sell on eBay years ago, same date, that put this one to shame!
These are a sampling of the many I found. While roll searching I always checked every half for the rhino horns. I found multiples (mostly very faint) for 71-D, 72-D, 73-D, 83-P. I also found one 1989-D.

Extra - what causes the rhino horns? Raised spaces between leaves

When I first found this, I thought it was a die clash. They're calling it a Progressive Indirect Design Transfer (PIDT)

That is brilliant Paul. Thank you very much for doing that for me. Here's the area of the clash. I guess it's the leg of the upside down P in Pluribus. Thanks again!!

See the seating brittania on the reverse of the coin? And the odd metal trace around it? That’s Indirect die transfer from the obverse of the coin, queen Elizabeth’s bust.

The reason I'm asking, I don't believe CONECA and the attributers are set-up for the process and to except coins.

Hey Paul, I was wondering that also. I know a while back CONECA was having some tech difficulties, but I think that has been corrected now. For me 4 Bucks is worth the "swag", and everyone knows what a self-promoting swag monger I am.

I've been trying to contact people at CONECA via their website regarding submitting coins for attribution. Zero positive feedback on POC's, guidance on where, when or how to submit coins. Maybe you could help us.

Re: Post your clashes here!
CONECA has a revamped their entire attribution system.... I don't believe they have told anybody the actual reason why.....
But if I were to make an educated guess, it would be the thousands upon thousands of coins submitted by new microscope users as "Errors"
...... Thus the need for "Pre-Screeners", is the amount of J**K They are receiving, has been overwhelming

Here's an 1853 Half dollar that I've always liked. First time I held a die clash. Saw the arm sticking out beneath the right wing of the eagle, I thought the concept was pretty cool.
