2021D, W-C-t-D, unidentified error
Hello,
I have 3 coins with the same exact features. I am unable to identify them. Looks like a beam from the eyes to the hand and a line from the bottom of the "A" to below the sword. What's this called? Thank you.

Is very difficult to discern what's going on in your images.....
As a guess……Possible accumulation of "Goop"

Yes me too, I'm interested in understanding what's going on with the coin. Even if its no big deal, for the new coin collector every little thing is big deal hahaha...

The 2021 D Crossing the deleware rolls are great. Die chips everywhere. From the hat to the boat oar, some on the sword that look like blood rolling off it , and even some on the back of the little man standing in the back of the boat. It's like Christmas.

An accumulation of die polishing compound on a die (they polish dies to prolong their life) can make unusual looking splotches etc. on coins. Sometimes when you find the in a roll, you get a series of them with the splotch/mark getting progressively smaller as the goop wears off from striking coins.
Typically the goop makes a texture to the surface as I see in the closeups of the area of the "beam."
No added value, but makes for interesting imagery in this case

I disagree
Finding an entire roll of goop coins from an OBW will have added value....
"Goop" has nothing to do with 'Die Polishing Compound', they are 2 completely different animals.
Goop, is the slurry of very fine metal shavings from the striking of coins, and the lubrication (grease) compound used within the machinery.

Re: 2021D, W-C-t-D, unidentified error
Thanks for the clarification Paul. I did not know you were using an actual technical term with "goop."
I had a run of these that were Kennedy Half dollars. one had a larger splotch that lessened over a series of 4 sequentially positioned halves in the same roll (though it was not a solid date roll, all the coins were the same MM and date). I was told on another forum back then that the splotch was "grease" or polishing compound. Since the gripe was in a field, there were no missing details as is typical with a greaser.
So now the question...Is there a way to distinguish what you are calling goop from a "greaser?"

The context of my answer was about finding some coins in a roll, such as the OP said he has three. But thanks for the clarification.Finding an entire roll of goop coins from an OBW will have added value....

Yes, "Goop" will be a foreign substance Upon the surface of the coin, which is
VERY SOFT and malleable…
& Will usually show ever so slight light contact marks from the coining process when found in a OBW.
The struck through grease coins usually will not have any foreign material upon their surfaces, and will exhibit a loss of device detail near/adjacent to the polished areas.
Unfortunately, the standard go to for any missing details upon a coin, …
is "Struck Through Grease"...... when, in fact, that may not be the correct answer.

After looking closely at the overlay for this coin....
I think that might be it.....
