Possible 1982-D/D Identification

#1 Unread post by claudewill1 »

Hi,
I came across this coin which appears to be a RPM, however, after looking at coppercoins.com, doubleddie.com, and varietyvista.com I was unable to find anything. With the amount of RPMs I have found I'm pretty sure this isn't machine doubling, RPMs are the one thing I'm a bit more knowledgeable about when it comes to coins.

RPMs are hard to attribute via a photo. From what I can see though, I don't see a RPM here.

For some reason all of the 82's I've looked at recently seem to have a look that make them look "blurry" exactly like they do in the photos.I haven't really noticed this on other years. I have a $50 bag of pennies I got from a credit union I'm just going through looking for varieties. I did find a 2000 Wide AM (minor variety) so far.
