2000's Nickel Mint Error?

I've found this nickel recently and I am unsure of the year due to what I'm thinking is a possible error. Any help would be appreciated

May I ask why do you think it’s an error? Just looks like a badly damaged coin to me. Parking lot type damage.

All of the detail is recessed and it is extremely shiny but the pictures don't do it justice

Someone put something & rubbed it to this, I've seen that before, but not often . . .

What you're seeing here, is intentional post mint damage........
