Quarter on Dime stock

#1 Unread post by AOCcoinKid »

Hiw do I define the Quarter on dime so I can find value. The one I am looking for is the 2.3gram coin. So far all I find is the thin quarter coin. 4.3grams. I want to buy the 2.3 gram coin but can't identify it to find value. What do I call it and where do I look for it. Thanks Dean

If I understand what you are asking, I am guessing you are asking about buying one of the 1970-D quarters that was struck on dime stock? A lot of people are not aware these were made - and only about 20,000 is estimated as the mintage. Some are on eBay.
