1963 D Franklin Doubling - Do you see it - what kind?

#1 Unread post by Funky Strike »

The Funkmeister is back with another coin I found that's probably worth face value - but what the heck - right?

I have a 1963 D Franklin Half - I noticed some doubling on the "D" and the letters of the Legend on the Reverse.

Anything to get excited about? - or just machine doubling - I can't find a variety of this error - So thinking just machine doubling

Thanks

Funky Strike Mike

Your coin is 90% silver do it's worth around $9 to $11. Not a doubled die.

Devices have been made thinner than normal. Doubling is flat and shelf-like. MD
