Martha Washington Pattern "Penny" that I cleaned?

#1 Unread post by ddgaff »

Hello Coin People:

I have a "coin" that I found after the West Point Mint tested the Penny Presses we rebuilt in 1982. Long story for sure. Anyway, I did some electrical and lube system updates to those multiple presses. This coin was found months later in a concrete crack. Truly uncirculated, stamped and then fell into that crack.

Anyway some years ago (30+ years later) I refound it, and evidently subsequently polished it (Whoops), and put it in a plastic sleeve.

I have had it graded at PCGS, and they have graded it "Genuine Cleaned".

So, can anyone tell me how much money I lost shining this Pattern Coin?

Thank-you so much for any help!

Be Well All;

Guys:

Just wondering, because my other pattern, unpolished, went for $5,906.25 on Great Auctions. I will drop them a note and ask them.

Thank-you all!
