I am buy far not an expert, I would say that it sat in coin book causing it to tone. I have come across many cents that either the obverse cold have been graded in higher MS grades, only to turn it over and have reverse look like some one tried to destroy it I've had same thing reverse good and obverse being messed up. So to me it looks like PMD...this is JMO
