I have this 1991 Lincoln cent that Im a trying to classify. So its missing some devices on the Obv like much of the date, motto and the first 2 letters of LIBERTY. The Rev isnt as bad but displays some weird things like this halo doubling effect on EPU. So its also a bit off center and the edge seems thickers and more squared off than normal but just being off center would not cause the weak devices. Id usually just say struck through grease on the missing design elements but with the rim, etc im not sure. Cant really find anything in the literature that descibes this....What is this?
Appreciate the help guys!!!!

Re: Help with 1991 LMC
Struck through grease, can't compare edges like this must use a set of calipers and measure center mass of the coin, edges can be play with or worn down. Thin or thick planchets do not add much value and need to be certified.

Ok thanks. Im not real concerned with the value aspect as identifying the cause of the defect. Just didbt seem lime a standard struck through grease coin. Thats why I ask though. Thanks Dan!!!
