very very new to coins need some help figuring this coin out

Good Day Coin Friends,!!!!
I am very very new to coins. My grandparents passed on leaving me with a lot of old old coins of which I know very little about.
The first coin I need some glorious advice on is A : 1908 Indian Head 5 dollar gold coin that has a very very very faint D mint mark that you can only see if you zoom in on a picture, as well as the beak of the eagle is colored !!!!
please and advice that is out there I am in need of it

This may be a 1908-D Half Eagle ($5) Gold Coin (Mintage of 118,000), I'm going to let the Experts decide if it's real or fake since it's a rare specimen & it's been one of the most faked coins of the 21st Century Half Eagle coins.

Based on these images the coin can't be authenticated, I recommend taking this to a dealer in person or sending to ANACS and let them grade and authentic this coin.

thanks you very much for the feed back thus far coin friends.
in my area the coin guy is a greasy mean aardvark he tried to offer me the what the coin was worth in just its gold weight in he is not a trustworthy person to be dealing with .
that is why I have come to this lovely community of coin people.
I have weighted the coin also have taken pics with current date to see if this helps answer more questions
I also made a short 25 second video of me dropping the coin on a scale a few times. I cant seem figure out how to upload it on here

The weight is correct with this specimen, it's supposed to weigh 8.36 grams.

Here's a example of one on PCGS, I recommend comparing your specimen to the authenticated ones.

(Also, I strongly recommend not dropping it, it could be a valuable specimen, a 1908-D Half Eagle is valuable with 148,000 Minted, even if this is in circulated condition, it's worth over $700.)

I send almost all of mine off, there's too many fakes and they're gold, weigh normal and almost look identical to the real deal.
