Hello I have this 1998 D Kennedy half dollar that shows doubling on the reverse , pretty much all lettering , I looked everywhere and couldn't find this coin error.
If it is a DDR would it be worth sending it to NGC or ANACS?
1998 D Kennedy half dollar DDR? New varieties?

Note the widths of the original devices has been thinned by the doubling.
BTW - Grading companies expect you to have already identified which specific error you believe you have when you submit a coin to be labeled as an error. The grading companies do not try to find errors on coins for people. The companies also do not not identify errors. The grading companies grade coins.
If you pay the company extra to label a coin as an error, while telling them the exact error you think you have, and that error is on their list of errors they recognize, then they will put the error name on the label. However, they have a so-so reputation for not identifying errors properly!
See the pdf in my signature for an eye opener about the "expertise" level the companies have concerning errors.
