1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). Not a mind reader but I think the OP is saying is a 92 close AM which I don’t believe it is with the photos provided.

Re: could it be
I agree with SensibleSal66, Machine Doubling.
Do have a reason you are posting each question twice? You have posted this coin twice and have received the same answer "Could it be" along with another coin under the title of "large or small type". Both seem to be repeats of the same question on the same coin.

Re: could it be
As has been said, please be very specific as to what you are asking about a coin. Following are legit answers to your title:
1. Yes, this is a US penny/cent ! :)
(please post pics of the full coin to start with)
2. Yes, there is machine doubling on the OBV.
3. Yes, there is machine doubling on the REV
4.
5. No, this is not a doubled die.
6. No, this is not a valuable coin. Sorry.
7. No, this is not a close AM.

Re: could it be
what makes it not? looks like the close am. The FG is the close am version. I know it is machine doubling there is no rounding on body. in other words one flat one round. looks like a class 7 would look like if possible? if you notice they look like a 2nd strike where there is no round display only areas where it is flat flat ok to show ? he has his mouth open?
this post of could it be is 1992 the other post is 1982 why this occured i do not know.
the reference shows the same FG as the close am 1992 at what point do we not use that reference? even if not a class vII still looks like close am.
sorry for the title i am trying to name it I will do better next time with everything to start with

Re: could it be
Go to PCGS site and then coinfacts and look up what a close AM looks like. The A and M are almost or are touching each other. The coin you posted there is a gap between the A and M. I would post a photo from coinfacts to support what I have said but copyright stuff and all.$4$ wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 10:51 pm what makes it not? looks like the close am. Re: could it be
No your FG is not the close type. It is close to the Marmoreal Building. Plus the G on the FG is the font used on wide AM. Your 1992 is not a close AM$4$ wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 10:51 pm what makes it not? looks like the close am. The FG is the close am version.
