Possible 1of a kind ? 1972 FS-104

#1 Unread post by Cw$wcoins »

I have to say first of all is a honor to be able to to communicate with you.now to the point..i do not want to come off as a know it all.I have been collecting error Lincoln cents for 52 years I have been obsessed with this since age 9 when i received a clay piggy bank bought at a estate auction by non other then my dad..to make a long story short I dropped it a couple weeks later and the coins scattered all around on the floor and as I started picking them up noticed they all had a strange look to them..but I was young and in those days you spoke when spoken to...but I told my father I think these pennies are no good because they have letters on them you can't read or some were on them twice making them hard to read and I'm afraid the Lady at the penny candy store won't take them...one particular one that still have is 1909 vdb that was sent back to the mint where it was supposed to be be removed from it but it somehow was reissued with the initials only partly removed and thats a whole nother story..im sorry I hope im not wasting your time but I thought you would like the scenario.so anyway i got those 8 pennies out the other night and in the old leather pouch they in and to my surprise was a little square piece of paper with a 1972 Pennie and when I opened it it said ...billy i got this penny back in change and it just looks different i rolled it im my palm and smiled and said oh my God my father must have put this in there when i was around 15 years old this was Friday night father's day eve..i spent the entire nite under the various microscopes I've acquired and do know why...because of a video Daniel did and just like my father would say he said IT HAS TO LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THIS COIN...well my friend not to bore you more ill let the picture's do the rest with a twist at the end like you say at the end of you're great videos ...but in this case if I'm rite and you agree with my assumption please contact me and ill tell you the twist..thankyou for this opportunity

First, don't post images from coppercoins.com, second, only post images of your entire coin, third, I don't help with potential discovery coins. Another thing a coin that has some die markers for a known double die doesn't mean it's a doubled die, the coin itself must be doubled as well.

No 1909 coin was sent back to the mint to have the VDB removed. You would need a signed US Mint letter to prove that. I am sorry but doesn't look like I can help you with your coins.
