1962 Lamination Error

Pretty extreme laminating error. first time I have found this, is there any value for these ?

I am sure a collector would pay some premium for this, looks different than any lamination I've seen.

May I ask ... How you determined this to be a lamination issue ??

because you can peel back the loose layer and still see the image underneath, if it was some sort of damage than the image would be distorted from the damage. That is why I think it's a lamination error rather than just a damaged coin.

Is there a significant "color difference" between the 2 areas ... ?

Here is a photo of the underneath area. Is this the "different color" your talking about ?

That is an awesome coin. I have seen a few coins with the lamination piece that hs come off and fortunately, the lamination piece stayed with the coin. This lamination goes clear across the coin. I have seen these things slabbed with both the coin and the lamination piece in the slab side by side. Cool coin.
