1. Post a front and back image of your coin with a specific question about what you’re seeing or asking about and one coin per topic.
2. Please remove coin from the holder unless it’s US or an official mint case or unless it is graded by a grading service.
3. Images should be taken by a camera or cell phone camera, we ask that members don’t use images through a microscope screen.
4. Always start your own topic, please don’t ask about your coin or post your coin in someone else’s coin topic.
5. Do not send private messages about your coin unless an Admin ask you too and the same for sending emails through the board.
6. No spam. Do not post any links to your coin or other non-coin websites.
7. Always be respectful even if something makes you upset or you don’t agree with a member. You can always get a second opinion elsewhere. If you have an issue then politely ask an admin in an PM. PM’s are for issues, technical and personal, but not for coin questions (refer to number 5 on this list). New video "A Scary Coin Grading Service Mistake That Could Cost You"
Lucky for the seller of this coin, I wasn't the only one that spotted the incorrect description. I thought I was going to get this mis-identified rarity cheap. Didn't happen and I paid more than I wanted to. Anyway the label says LDLL (Large Date Large Leaves) which is the most common variety for this date. It is Small Date Small Leaves and since it is Obverse 2 (the rarest of the 6 varieties) the PCGS sticker could have cost the owner a lot of money.

If they got the little tags switched, to quote Mr. T, "pity the fool" that paid up for an actual LDLL that was labeled small date, small leaves. Learn to grade and identify coins fer yerself - never trust the little sticker until you see the coin.

Now c'mon cap'n. We know all o' us 'ave to be 'allucinatin' o'er this here one!
PCGS guarantees at least three graders per coin. An' atop o' that there, they claim each coin be assigned to one o' their graders with expertise in the area o' that there specific coin.
From https://www.pcgs.com/guarantee:
"GRADING
The coins are now ready for grading. Each order is distributed to graders based on their particular skill and expertise. While the graders are generally trained to handle coins from virtually all eras, they are assigned coins based on their strengths. "
Since it says so in black an' white on the label...an' 4 o' the expert experts fer Vicky cents say so...well...it just 'AS to be so!

Re: New video "A Scary Coin Grading Service Mistake That Could Cost You"
I was doing some research and look what I found:
1891 SDSL Obv.2
This is my exact same coin that started this post. Only they got it right on their website! This is a great website for info on coins of Canada. This was done afore I got this beauty. Sadly PCGS got it wrong. Someday I may re-submit so they can correct the little sticker - har.
