Zerbe die coin is it worth regrading could it be special strike
I have a anacs zerbe die coin. It looks different then most Morgan’s I have mirror like quality and has die mark by second u in unum. Anyway my question should I get it recertification if so could it be considered a special strike coin. I have pics but having trouble sending them. I watch your videos a lot and appreciate any feedback. I have a lot of different coins to talk about. Hopefully this gets easier for me.

Hey J, I believe ANACS attributes these coins to start with, so I guess there are two questions, will NGC or PCGS Attribute a zerbe? I can tell you they do not attribute all of the VAMS out there, so you need to check. The other question is how much more will an NGC or PCGS holder bring at auction. You have to figure the cost of the coin, any certification you already paid, plus the fees you will pay to get it recerted. Try heritage history and see which holder brings a premium, you may find that ANACS is the only one who attributes a zerbe.

Re: Zerbe die coin is it worth regrading could it be special strike
Well the coin I have says zerbe die. And I’ve noticed zerbe special strike certification is very valuable. But at the time my coin was graded they didn’t call them special strike at that time. Some people say my coin isn’t valuable another person says it’s worth 14k. I was wondering if I should get it recert. I have tried to research it looks different for sure and has die mark at second u in unum witch they say is a good thing. Anyway the whole zerbe thing is confusing

A USB microscope is not necessary… You can use a regular camera or a cell phone camera.
Interesting, I have never been reported before… I guess were not allowed to ask for pictures anymore

Why is this topic still going. We do not help with images, you post them here. We do not call anyone for images. Post the images here or seek help with a dealer or someone in person. You NEVER post your phone number here.
