$100 U.S. Star Note - should it be graded?
I have a 2006 series $100 Star note that is very rare and has some (I think) minor condition issues. Because of it rarity, I was wondering if it is worth getting it graded? Please see attachments. Also, any guesses as to it possible range value? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hard to tell from your photo. I cant see the anti-counterfeit strip in it or the watermark

From what I have read paper money is harder to grade and they are stricter on the grading?
If you feel it is worth more then the price of grading to sell and get a profit or if you wanna keep it with grade then do it.

Re: $100 U.S. Star Note - should it be graded?
Ok, I'd like to know the Characteristics of the Note . Does it have any creases, folds, tears, smudges, is it "wavey" etc ? From the Pics it looks scanned , no ? Can you take a photo of each side separately ?
In my opinion, some buyers are after the Star more than the run . It's a fairly new Note, so unless it grades like a Gem Unc. 66, it might not sell, right now for a lot of money over face value .
With that said, there is one going up for sale at Ha.com on Oct. 6th .I'll watch for it and also check Ebay .
Lastly , it looks really nice ( maybe gem 66 ) but I'd still like some description of it more. Those issues you show are very minor.
Take Care. Be Safe. Wash Hands etc..
P.S IF YOU GRADE IT TRY PMG ( PAPER MONEY GUARANTY ).https://www.pmgnotes.com/

Re: $100 U.S. Star Note - should it be graded?
Just because it's less mintage than the rest does not make it scarce or in demand for collectors. So there's not extra value for this note. Also, that's 320,000 sheets and there's 8 or more in a sheet so there's millions of these printed.

Kris W.: Thank you for the response. It does have the anti-counterfeit strip and watermark. When you hold them up to the light you can see both.
Daniel: OK thanks that is what I thought. Still nice to have one.
SensibleSal66: no creases, folds. only the things I mentioned. The pictures are photo's not scans. I attached a 10X Mag photo of the edge where it is damaged. You just about can't see it without some magnification. Thank you for the info.
Wilkinsp21: Thank you most likely will keep it.
I want to thank you all for looking at this and the great advise. The time you spent is greatly appreciated.
