2017 Crisp Star note, pretty low serial number.

#1 Unread post by JeffreyLenhardt »

Hello forum,

I am new here. I have a modest coin collection but know nothing about currency. I got this out of an ATM last week along with a bunch of other new $20s, six sequential numbers. I have looked and am at a dead end. The 2017 Star note, SN# 00000324, is crisp, looks to have never been folded. There is a small crease in the upper left corner, not a hard crease, almost like it had sat on something and pressed. I have done the Star note lookup. It was printed at the DC facility in May 2018, with a run of 320,00. Does anyone know where else to look to find a value? Ebay auctions has nothing comparable. Looks like a pretty good find, just don't know how excited to get, lol.

Thank you in advance for any guidance you can give.

Jeff

Too modern to have any value circulated, you can always check ebay sold listings to see what something like this could sell for.

Daniel, please eliminate this if not allowed.
This is a place I go to for currency questions - the people on here have offered my one friend who is a serious currency collector expert advice that has always been good.

I was trying to learn where to research value. Not a lot of help here.

It's a difficult thing to put a value to or get much out of this . Serial number collecting is a unique niche of collecting. Try mycurrencycollection.com . It's a look up reference . !!

Update : I found out a 2017 note with that number is 97% on their coolness rating !!! I advise to hang onto it . I have a 1934 $20 note that is a Star and it's only worth about a little over $100. Plus it has misalignment on the back . Also, keep trying eBay for similar notes . :greatfind:
