2011-D Jefferson Nickel DDR?

#1 Unread post by Snyderart »

Hello All,

I may have found a 2011-D Jefferson Nickel DDR? I checked "Brian's Variety Coins" website at https://www2.briansvarietycoins.com/listings/cat/56 and didn't see it listed. The doubling appears the most toward the outside "M" and "O" in "Monticello" and progressively lessens toward the center where the "I" and "C" have little doubling. Would that make it a Class II (Distorted Hub Doubling) as explained on Error-Ref http://www.error-ref.com/class-ii/?

Here are the images. Hopefully they are clear enough to see (the first was take with my web cam and the others taken with my phone through a magnifying glass).

Thank you for any help you may have! Happy hunting!
