I found a 1997 penny that has no raised letters on front silver in color on front and only weighs 2.4 grams

This has been damaged. No error coming out of the mint looks like that. Looks like someone held it to a belt sander, removed the copper plating, and exposed the inner zinc core.

I agree this is damage to the coin and after it left the mint.
