1916 mercury dime

Hi can any help me out I was given this by an older gentleman
Very nice man for doing this . He gave it to me as a gift for being he freind he
Told me he had won it in pocker game in his earlyis 20's and he has held on to for a long time
As u can see it's kinda worn down and stuff I still remember wat he said DON'T LOSE IT
ITS LEGIT AND VALUABLE so to my knowledge it has all the details just like other mercury dime it's not a fake so if anyone can help

It is fake and not a real US Coin.

Sorry, but it is fake. Compare the small details in your picture to a pic of a legit one you can find by using a search engine online.
