Hello,
My question is about the coin here, why it came back as Cleaned from PCGS? I post pics before and after sending:

Hello and Welcome . It probably was dipped in something other than Acetone .

Do you know how to check for dipping before sending to grading service? Is there any guide or something?

I'm not sure as I never clean my coins that aren't found with a Metal Detector . Awaiting more answers .

The coin may be cleaned for your personal enjoyment and if it has more sentimental value than monetary value, or if it's not a particularly rare coin.
One popular reason to clean coins is if you are collecting circulated currency, such as Lincoln pennies, that are not rare or ancient.

Ofc. I got this one from a dealer. I looked it with microscope and there were no signs of cleaning, but PCGS thinks the opposite. So the question was do you see any signs of cleaning on the pictures? If it was dipping, how to spot it?
